"But despite" from the April 2012 sold out issue of PocketESC is featured here. Here are the issue specifics.
I'll have work forthcoming in many places, including the invite-only print issue of Phantasmagorium (edited by the legendary Joe Pulver, who wrote the ultra-weird frenzy called The Orphan Palace). And very soon, in Hobart, Ping Pong, Dirtcakes, etc., plus a guest essay for Marge Simon's column in the Horror Writers Association's newsletter.
Several favorable reviews for Dadaoism: An Anthology, one of the best anthos I've ever read. It includes my wee "Nowhere Room."
If you are into Filipiniana, then you might want to pick up Eliza Victoria's gorgeous book, A Bottle of Storm Clouds. It is published by Visprint, a Philippine-based publisher. I've read Victoria's stories before, and what I see is definitely promising.
Digital reads that I've recently read and enjoyed:
Bought several print books over the weekend. Two poetry books, plus books by Brendan Connell, Quentin Crisp, and Michael Cisco. I consider Michael Cisco to be the most proficient writer in the world. This is a sample of a Cisco piece. Stunning, isn't it?
I haven't stepped beyond the house gates for three months -- thanks to the convenience of electronic payroll, awesome telecommuting arrangement, and mild misanthropy. This. Is. Life.
